The Tracey's are veteran translators. They are living in Peru as of this writing and are working with the Quechua people. They are well accepted there and continue to teach literacy to these people through scripture and hymns. They have recently had to turn their focus of teaching literacy through the schools and instead teach it through the churches.
The church came to support them because they are originally from Lincoln, a town an hour north of here. They first visited 20 to 25 years ago. The Traceys will be coming home on furlough in May of 2002.
