Our church had two members take short term missions trips last year. Pastor Steve Hall took a trip to Zacatecas, Mexico in July of last year. Pastor Steve traveled with a family friend, Jim McNally, to check out the possibility of short term trips for our church's teens and adults to this area. Sarah Farnham was also able to participate in a trip in July of last year. Sarah was able to minister at the Red Lake Indian Reservation in Minnesota.

At this time we have three young people pursuing missionary opportunities. Michelle Bowden is planning to travel to Mexico in March of 2002. Michelle will be ministering with an Inter-Church Ministries team from the University of Maine Orono. This group will be sharing the gospel on secular university campuses while in Mexico. Anna and Alex Graves will be leaving for Santa Domingo on July 1st 2002 for a ten-day missionary trip. The primary task of their group will be constructing a building for a church in that country. They will also be sharing their Faith through drama and evangelistic outreaches.

We currently have a group Leaving July 12th for Zacatecas, Mexico. They will be continuing the work from last year. The Team members are: Steve Hall, Steve Farnham, Sarah, Farnham, Chuck Bailey, Faith Bailey, Kim Kneeland, Amanda Nute, Sandy Pellerin, Matt Pellerin, Jon Kenerson, Adam Barber, Beth Griffin, Maelynn Martin, Jim Rogers, Amy Rogers.
